Memory Cards for the Chinese New Year
by Wayne Ma on February 18, 2007

If you were born in 1923, 1935, 1947, 1959, 1971, 1983 or 1995, you are considered a pig, according to the Chinese zodiac. And this year, when the Chinese celebrate 2007, the pig returns to prominence.

Supplied by Taiwan-based PQI, these limited edition Chinese New Year-themed USB memory cards celebrate the Year of the Pig in 1GB and 2GB forms. The cards feature limited-edition designs of the pig with red embroidered peonies.

Traditionally, my family often gives me red envelopes filled with money for the Chinese New Year. These memory cards are going to usher in a new generation of Chinese New Year gift-giving.
