  • i used the laser comb had bought through heartland . ad says 1 yr. limited warrenty . after i had the comb about 6 months and and using it exactly like the instructions said could see no visable results of it growing any hair or making it thicker so called heartland they said they only give a refund up to 30 days (i didn’t realize that ) and told me to call the hair pro laser comb company which i did and even though it said a year limited warrenty and i told them it didn’t work they said they would only replace it (replacing a product that as a product just didn’t work would do me no good ) and told me since i bought it from heartland to call them (heartland of america was the one that suggested i call the laser comb company ) called heartland again and was told since i had it that long couldn’t return it for a refund so the bottom line is from my opinion “don’t buy the laser comb ” i was out approximatlly $150. i feel sorry for those who have paid $500 or more . i will suggest not buying this to anyone who thinks about buying the laser comb , they got what little socail security money i get a month . but i wont let them do others the same way if i can prevent it. save your money , buy a wig or something that actually will work , i tried the laser comb as instructions said and it didn’t work , period . money now gone nothing to show for it , not even a refund for a product that didn’t work . fda approved obviously means very little .

  • I have one and it WORKS! I used it for about 4 months and the hair are thicker and there is an increased in new hair growth. I don’t know what the problem with your purchase is but there is a 20 weeks refund minus 15% restocking fee on the Laser Comb. I don’t think you can expect to keep the comb for 6 months then ask for a refund, you should see a difference in about 3 to 4 months, that’s up to 16 weeks and well under the 20 weeks they allow for refund. I think different people get different results. This comb is proven to work for me.

I have been using a device called the lasercomb(by hairmax) for almost 6 months. Its a product that is supposed to stop hair loss. I used it as indicated in its instructions, 3 times a week and each session not to exceed 10 to 15 minutes. It said to always leave at least 1 day of non use between each treatment which I did. On May 4 2009 I felt dizziness and difficulty to speak and also I felt that I was going to faint. I was rushed to a hospital where I live in Caracas Venezuela, and was addmitted to the emergency room. Upon arrival my blood pressure was very low, 9 over 5 as I recall. All sorts of tests were performed, bllod tests, urine tests, electrocardiogram, cat scan, etc. and all tests were perfectly normal. I described to my doctor that I felt a strange tingling or sensitivity on the top of my skull. When I touched the top of my head I felt an elongated lump on the very top of my skull. I knew that this lump was something new that was definitely not there before. The doctor said he could not conclude if the lasercomb had caused the problem but he recommended me to inmediately stop using it. I did stop using it and the elongated lump on the top of my skull decreased in size each day, and today only 4 days after the episode that sent me to the emergency room its about 80% vanished and I now no longer feel the sensitivity I had been feeling for some time on the top of my skull(which was the spot where I had most intensely focused the use of the lasercomb). I now feel fine but am convinced that the lasrcomb has serious life threatening side effects.
