1UP.com recently spoke with Sony’s Phil Harrison about the future of the PS3 and what new releases to expect in 2007. Seems Sony is getting geared up to launch HD content on the Playstation Network with movies, music, and TV shows. Harrison also drops hints at bigger hard drives on the PS3 and goes on to let us all know that there won’t be a price cut anytime soon.
After spending some time with the PS3 and messing around with the Playstation Network, I can seriously say that PSN need improvements. It has a lackluster UI, a small batch of content, and no movies or TV shows! Sometimes I just want to shell out the cash for a DRM’d episode of Grey’s Anatomy because I want to watch it ASAP. We’ll have to wait and see what kind of moves Sony plays with its super-console before we know what it has up it’s sleeve.

wat pussies sony is being, they are so scared they have to be copying from everyone else, just face the facts sony, you can’t win them all! I say nintendo will win this time around or probably microsoft. It’s close, but then again nintedo’s consoles seem to die out fast.

Sony are being tight lipped and waiting for the right time, you are talking aboout the company with the best game and film studios in the world Ray. If anything Microsoft has copyed everything Playstation has done so far you really know nothing…
Ok tsojaybird, first of all yeah, they may look alike but they don’t copy, and now ask yourself this which one from all those succeed the most? Ofcourse Microsoft does, and i ain’t a fanboy of Microsoft, infact i barely even pay attention to them, but since i have a xbox 360 now i can say that it’s vice versa with ps3 and xbox 360 copying. And simmo sony was the best game and film, they still are with the ps2, but other than that ps3 doesn’t look like it will beat out the wii and xbox 360 this time. trust me when it was ps2 and xbox i chose ps2, I’m was xbox who?
