need CNN to tell you. No, you know already, and so does everyone else.
In a recent survey of reviews of Windows Vista, Infinite Loop discovered that 75% of them referenced OS X. If that’s not telling, we’re not sure what is.
Ironically, playing around with Vista for more than a month has done what years of experience and exhortations from Mac-loving friends could not: it has converted me into a Mac fan. -Technology Review

Have you used Vista? There are hundreds of great changes in the OS and a lot of them are very different from apple.

Your pro-apple, anti-microsoft slant on crunchgear is tired and boring. Grow up kiddies. I’m reaching for the unsub feed right now. Try being an objective tech review and gadget site – it will win you more friends and readers. Some of your tech writers have steve jobs sized chips on their shoulder. This makes for lame lame lame reading.
68% of plasma TV reviews mention LCD TVs.
74% of Gmail reviews mention Yahoo! mail.
93% of reviews of Republican politicians mention Democratic politicians.
81% of reviews of Crunchgear mention Engadget.
…and 73% of statistical data is worthless.
tried os x and im not impressed.
oh how i love to see bitter windows fans (and theres alot ov them 98% of computers for windows so we are allways reminded) vista is tosh utter rubbish
This is a very interesting fact. It is very true about the OS being so simular in feature set to OSX…not usability though, coming from a user of both, I can say with ease that Mac OS is superior. This is nothing new and astounding, but what is interesting is that the media is finally noticing it.
Is anyone even remotely surprised by this? I mean, we’ve been hearing the comparisons between Windows Vista and OS X since the goddamned thing was called Longhorn.
In addition, OS X is Vista’s direct competitor. Whoever heard of reviewing something without mentioning its competition, even if in passing? The statistic may be accurate, but the more you think about it, the more you realize that this fact is only superficially relevant.
