I wonder how many of those “artsy” “different” mac owners even remember that mac stood for macintosh?
A totally random thought there XD
There already is a Intel-based iMac and they didn’t rename it, so why should they do that now? Also, naming it simply “Mac” would be rather confusing, because the brand Mac pretty much stands for all computers by Apple. A black version of the iMac however sounds very consequent and evident.
