I took the plunge this weekend gone, and left my cds at home, and used this system to DJ in a club. I've been DJing 25 years and I have fallen in love with it again. Everything said in the review is true.

A few extra points to consider....

1. Once you have the next track in time, keeping the arrow lit up, start the track, and then switch off the arrow, so you can manually fine tune the mix. If you leave the arrow lit up, the next track pull in with change the tempo of the track playing which can be very destructive to the vibe.

2. Run it on its own, it has a tendency to lose time, so I rebooted the mac and left it running alone, and it was fine. I wanted to have iTunes open too to drop in the occasional effect but steady temo is more important.

3. I right clicked on the taught the software to ignore the tempo faders, cos in a dark club after a few drinks its easy to mistake the tempo fader for the voulume, and again 120 bpm to 200 aint working on the dance floor.

To summarise: its the bollocks, i really enjoyed using this and would recommend it to anyone wanting a simple light and cheap option. Sure it only plays 2 tracks, but it 20% of the cost of other systems, which is hard to knock.

Apologies - appreciate the effort in reviewing, but you might want to cut back on the "personality" - it comes off a bit to your detriment (e.g. - saying that you "know what you're talking about is a sure way to make readers wonder if you really do). Coming direct with the information you've gleaned in a confident manner (without self-aggrandizing) will make those interested respect and inspect what you've written. Again, sorry for the criticism, but I see this a lot in reviews.
