one of our favorite products from last year), the 10-megapixel digi features a 2.5-inch LCD and an intelligent zoom function that rivals the image clarity of an optical zoom. Shake Reduction is also implemented to steady that nervous twitch you have.

If you’ve been looking for a DivX-certified digital camera, then you are in luck, as the A30 has such certification. The A30 can capture up to one hour of high-quality DivX video on a 1GB media card.

  • What is this, CNET? I’m missing the actual specs here… “The A30 can capture up to one hour of high-quality DivX video on a 1GB media card.” What does high-quality mean? Resolution? Frame Rate? Audio? Mono?

  • Sorry Sacha, it’s VGA (640×480) or QVGA (320×240). From my experience with the A20 it can capture about 40 minutes of VGA video on a 1GB card at 30fps. Audio is WAV (PCM), monaural.
