 speed becomes increasingly important. The read speed on the GT gets up to 34MB/s with write speeds up to 28MB/s. That’s about five times faster than average drives. And if you’re thinking about taking advantage of the ReadyBoost feature in Vista, you need this kind of speed, too.

Why no 16Gb drive? I was just about to buy 16Gb standard version, but it’s only 5Mb write speed.
Great spec but without tasty hardware encryption like on the Kingston Elite’s this is a non starter. It’s just criminal not to have on the fly hardware encryption on a device such as this.
