Helio announced today the availability of its new device, the Helio Heat. It’s an EV-DO phone that is positioned just below the Drift in features and price.

If you draw the Heat, expect it to feature a 1.3MP camera with 136MB of internal memory. It shares the same GPS and stereo Bluetooth as the Drift, so feature-wise, it’s similar in that department.

The Heat features a minimalist glass face with a slender silhouette. Like the Drift, it’s produced by Samsung. It features a high-gloss face and comes in onyx and shimmering gold.

It features a highly responsive electrostatic touchpad with customizable sensitivity. The phone has thin touch and smooth sliding action with a 1.99 high-resolution QVGA display that feature landscape mode.
