Balancing One-Wheeled Scooter

This guy’s scooter is like the Segway in many ways, but you don’t look like a tool riding this contraption. Your speed is controlled by shifting forward or backward. Apparently it’s very intuitive to ride. Two 12V batteries power the 400W traction motor. An ADXRS300 Rate Gyro and ADXL202 dual axis accelerometer keep you on your feet so you don’t eat it in front of the babes. This is way cooler than this POS.

Pretty cool, but how fast does it go and where can I get one?

Peter Ha. Out of curiosity, what is your definition of a tool? Thanks for responding.
