PC speakers typically have no design aesthetic to speak of — box, woofer, tweeter, wires. NEXT! Sonicum’s soon to be released speakers at least have a personality. The 15-watt speakers, which should be available this May for around $120 (or for $80 if you buy ‘em before April 6), resemble a speaker icon when viewed from the side. Now, they’re just PC speakers, so don’t expect to be able to turn them up to 11 or anything like that. That said, any innovation in speaker design is just fine by me.
