The light was out and I was on the laptop typing away. It was 11:00 at night and my parents were out, I was alone in the huse. All of a sudden I heard the wooden floor boards creak. And thats when I knew I was not alone in the house. I saw out of the corner of my eye a flash of light in the darkness and I looked up from my laptop. I quietly got out of bed to turn on the lights, but there was a problem……….the electricity just went out. I started to shiver. It was to scary in my room, since its in the basement, so I went to hide in the upstairs restroom. Then the door shot open, I screamed and threw my laptop in the air, it landed in the toilet. There my dad stood in the door way. Phhhhhuuu!

that sounded scary my room is downstairs to thats were i was when my story happened if you ever read it

It was after dinner and I was playing my grannys’ laptop. Something all of a sudden started to malfungtion. And the laptop started to rumble and everyone ran outside. I looked over and saw that my granny was still in the house. All of a sudden it was calm. We ran into the house and saw my Gateway had exploded on her lap. Ahhhhhh gessssssssss!

My Laptop died:=( its old i was trying to fix it up and now its stuck.Its stuck in the CMOS Password thingy and i cant fix it.If you type in a password or anything it gives you 3 trys then it dies on your :=(. Im on Disabilty and cant afford a new one i wish this was a joke but it not its my Nightmare:=(

I was out shopping and buying alot of items that added up roughly to about 15 shopping bags. Well I had just bought a brand new laptop and I put that bag/box on the top of the car, while I was loading the other bags in the car. Well it was a very bad day for me to begin with and ended up to be a very sad day for me. I drove off with the laptop on my car and unfortunately I didn’t realize that I left it on the roof until I got home. I went back to retrack my route and the laptop and receipt were no where to be found. I am sure someone pulled over and grabbed it. I was soo upset, that I just spent $1400.00 and no laptop. I am still not over it. :(

I was getting some water when I came back i sat my water on the lab top stand when my lab top stop working and the lights went out I was at home by my self because I lost my mothers keys and she had another pair but not the house keys so it was thundering I had got scared when it went off when a thunder bolt hit my front tree i jump backed when my chair went back but it cult the stand and I flip backed hit my head and the water spilled on the labtop but what was frighning also was it was my dads lab
top and i wasn’t supposed to be on their and at that time another lightning bolt hit when i hit my head and I really fell out I had to go to the hospital my head hurted all day.

As a spy I always have enemies. Ones that I know and ones that I don’t know. When I saw a ad in my mail box about a laptop give away I was suspicious but I entered it anyway. I get a call 4 weeks later saying I won a new HP laptop so im happy. When the laptop arrived I tore open the box and turned on the laptop. But when I turned it the screen turned red. Then it said. SELF DESTRUCT IN 5…4..3..2..1 BOOM!I run out just in time. Crap………..

Interesting tales… Sorry to hear about your story Marie, I think that one got my attention the most.

I *almost* had a bad one… I closed my laptop lid (like I do every day) to put the laptop in my backpack and head to work. The laptop is supposed to go into hibernation when I do that, and I usually look at the computer itself to make sure that it did indeed go into hibernation… but this one time I didn’t check and just put it in my backpack. When I got to work and eventually pulled the laptop out of my backpack it was SUPER hot, it hadn’t gone into hibernation and was on the verge of overheating. I don’t think laptops handle overheating very well to start with, and this thing was crazy hot. I’m glad it didn’t melt down or fry something inside of it. Close call.
