A while back I received a T-Mobile/HTC Dash to play with and truth be told, it wasn’t too exciting. Windows Mobile is just a crappy OS and until it’s redone completely or undergoes a major overhaul, I really don’t plan on using it…or an HTC phone I suppose. Anyways, this 9-minute long video stars The fat Phat Guy going off on a rant about the Dash.

Surprisingly though, he actually addresses both the good and bad points with the Dash. Those of you considering a Dash might want to watch this before you plunk down your hard-earned cash.

  • This guy didn’t spend enough time learning to use the phone. His review was pretty useless. For example, he described of the OS as being “sucky”. I will not be watching another of his reviews.

  • Boy i tell ya! Ya bash 1 mobile phone out there and WHAM right in the gut! Ahhh well, honestly is a bitch isn’t it. I don’t think I should have to spend time learning a phone. All the negative peeps that fire back at me on that phone all say the same thing, if i spent more time, all my issues with it would of been resolved via time! Time heals all wounds! Bah I say!

I mean lets talk about hot tech cool gizmo purchases, you don’t pay for the manual, you pay for the RUSH of the hopeful experience you want to have. I researched the hell outa that phone, I went to all sites, boards, reviews i could find. I wanted to love it, I wanted to go “ya, i’m doin the dash baby” but in the end, it wasn’t there. Time to YEAH factor did not compute.

The OS is sucky, its alot like my rant on tablet pc’s actually.

Don’t watch any more of my reviews.. actually most of them aren’t reviews and more like episodes of me talking.. but please don’t watch if your ears can’t stand a little noise.
