Yup. Basically, the PS3 is such a zune that the only way to get any buzz and ensure positive press coverage was to give away HDTVs.

Poor Sony and Micro$oft. They still don’t get it. People don’t want the same old crap but with higher resolution and more enemies if they have to pay $600 (Well, I guess some are, but I don’t understand why). People want to have FUN while they play. Nintendo has been and always be the king of fun.

I refuse to stay in line to get a Wii or to get inside knowledge so that I know exactly when the shipments are in and buy one inmediately, but I am wondering if the Wii is ever going to be a console you can just go and buy at the store like all the other ones, that is without having to spend $550 in crap I don’t need. Who sells the console?

Lol, Sony is so desperate they give away free TVs if you buy a PS3, but somehow that makes the PS3 better? I think the fact that I can walk in a store here and see three PS3s sitting on the shelf, compared to the STILL sold out Wii means that the PS3 is a giant waste of money.

You stupid nobcake…the only reason Wii has sold more consoles is because people can afford it. Nobheads like all the Wii geeks can’t gather enough cash to go out and get a PS3 so they’re stuck with the bloody WII. It just goes to show how poor people are these days. Alright…WII is kind of fun…but the type of fun that makes me want to play PS3 after I’ve finished…then after playing PS3 I feel like a proper gamer. Why buy a cheap console that offers cheap thrills (WII) when you can save up and buy a real games machine like the PS3. When playing PS3…there’s an atmosphere…the sound and the graphics add to the realism. WII on the other hand offers shiza games which actually remind me of the eyetoy games for PS2…This is my last post because I no longer feel I have to rub it in that PS3 is the master console and the master games machine for current gaming…Nice try WII geeks but just give up…games are about graphics, sound, likeability, atmosphere, realism and fun…WII offers likeability and fun whereas PS3 offers all of the above…well, except for some games……I dont dislike WII cos I have one myself, but when it comes to serious gaming…it’s PS3 time…If I want a bit of a laugh…I’ll turn on the WII…sorry I meant throw it out the window……cos thats much more fun asswipe

I’m not being a hater here but they all have they’re Goods and bads guys. Being in the US NAVY I’ve come to realise that what trully makes a console good is personal opinion. Some people love realism in games, and some like fun in games. I like both and I chose the Xbox 360 because most of the PS3 games come out in the XBOX 360 now (except for Metal Gear, Mario, Etc…), and you can get fun games like those found in the Wii.

The motion sensor on the Wii is pretty cool, but I would say its targeted to the Youth, while as the PS3 and the 360 are more towards Teens and Adults.

Either way, you’re better off saving your money and giving them all a try because they all hold their own “unique” taste. I have no complains about the 360, and a large population of the Military prefers the 360’s because of its HUGE selection of games and game types. Look it up yourselves, it feels like Microsoft brings out new games every 2 weeks or so for the 360, if you ask me that’s pretty insane and it keeps everyone here very busy.

Please Comment and tell me if you see otherwise, because the Wii and the PS3 have a handfull of total games where as the 360 has a Ton.

Also I heard Final Fantasy 13 is gonna pop for the 360 so that makes me MORE than happy. :)

Youre only putting that because your trying to justify your decision for buying a 360, and youre saying the ps3 sucks just so it makes you feel good about your decision to purchase a xbox 360 when in fact you probably have never played one, and know its specification and potential…stupid comment really.

It’s just been a long time since I came on here, so I thought I’d post a comment lol. PS3 is by far the best console…if you like graphics and all that mumbo jumbo. X-Box WAS good but is a bit too old now. It seems as if Microsoft are trying to get every last penny out of the X-Box 360 by adding new things to it…just move on Microsoft and make the New X-Box already. Finally…Wii is a new type of games console that has taken the world by storm with its new unique way of playing games…However, I personally like the fact that games become graphically better through time. The Wii has shit all over realism with ‘fun gameplay’. Games should be fun, have a certain amount of realism and a good storyline…FUN eventually becomes OLD…Jake sucks ass
