I'm gonna buy the keyboard! I hope it will work good.
It's a second-hand keyboard.

I find this article very helpful as I am totally new to MIDI controllers. I just purchased this exact same model off Ebay and it arrived in perfect condition. Unfortunately it took me some time to figure out why I was getting no communicaiton with my cakewalk program, more a matter of knowing how to set the MIDI options in and out, etc. And, the conroller itself had not been restored to the factory default settings- another problem I had to work out. Once I did these two things it worked flawlessly with my laptop and my Music Creator 2 Cakewalk program (pretty basic and cheap).
What I wish I had more help on is using the Enigma software that I downloaded from M-Audio. How to assign keys, etc. THis is not very intuitive and user friendly for someone new to this whole thing. Are there any help books published that would help me better understand this? LIke MIDI controllers for Dummies, or something?
