 with prices of either $1,199.99 or $2,474.99. Am I missing something here?

The system isn’t due in U.S. stores till April 29 with an estimated retail price of $479.99. So who in the hell is going to drop $1,200 to nearly $2,500 for it now? Again, maybe I’m missing something and if so, please straighten me out.

1,200 doesn’t seem cheaper. And if you’re comparing preorder prices…the 360 is already out. People know what it does, there’s nothing too new about it other than hdmi and a larger hdd.
So I’ve got to agree with Josh on this one, who Would pay that much for a preorder. I’d only pay like 20 bucks for a preorder, yeah that’s right, 20 bucks. Maybe that’s why I still don’t have either a 360 or a ps3.

Well the xbox 360 elite dosent come out until may 4th in canada .. who wants to pay like 1,200$ for a preorder when you can wait like weeks and a half to get it for 479.99$
