Those of you who didn’t get a Macbook Pro with 802.11n built-in or own a laptop with an ExpressCard slot, you’re actually in luck. D-Link has just released a new ExpressCard featuring Pre-N speeds — the DWA-643 Xtreme N. You’ll be covered as far as WiFi goes, as the card includes both 802.11n and 802.11g/b wireless and supports all kinds of secure encryption settings like WEP. It’s currently available from D-Link’s website for $119.99, which is a bit pricey, but worth it if you’ve got an 802.11n router like the Airport Extreme.

This card is good for Linux too with the right drivers. Works with aircrack-ng and monitor mode, packet injection, etc.
