Surely Sony decision to sell a cheaper / less able version in europe is comming back to haunt them. Everyone knows that the euro version isn't the same as the Japanese and American version, and that sooner or later Sony will be forced to standardise.

PS3 price drop?? They lose $100 each one sold, so I doubt they would drop it anymore...

I've always intended to buy a PS3, just haven't yet, waiting on it. I checked to see what games are coming out within the next few months, and there doesn't seem to be too much that interesting until Q4. So maybe then I'll get one. Hopefully by then the price will have dropped and Sony would have released some more cool interesting things...

In fact while I'm at it...

The people who had always intended on buying a PS3 by now, probably have already, or don't plan to for a few months yet. The people who never intended to buy a PS3, probably haven't changed their minds just yet. This isn't a revelation. So, is there much news in reporting that sales are down after the first week of release?

...me thinks, very little

Wait til christmas.

Surely game sales are down simply due to the fact that console sales have dropped. If fewer people have purchased the console, its probably accurate to also assume that the chances are few, if any, purchased a game for a console they didn't buy
