You can erase all texts with one option, just hit erase instead of erase multiple, it will come up with a screen saying "erase this, erase all" guess which one you pick.

ok NIK i have the upstage to and it does have a speaker phone.all you have to do is when you are talking to someone go to options and select turn speaker on.its that simple.also you can delete more than one text at a time.just choose erase multiple in the options shown in the text message list and check all the messages that you want to erase.one last thing,if you set your text message options to just show the new text icon it will not tell you that its gonna delete the oldest message,it just will.dude, check your phone out more.

yeah i dont know what NIK wa talkin about when he said it has no speaker phone. While you're on a call you hit your options button which is quite visible and you see clear as day TURN SPEAKER ON!

The only thing that Im having difficulty with is uploading my videos from my phone to my laptop because the video format doesnt support wma or divx so any help on that would be appreciated.

i also have the upstage.
It does have speaker phone so i dunno what nik's talking about and it also doesn't have to load the songs everytime i listen to them, if i've recently been listening to them then they'll automatically show up when i click the play button.
i love it.

i have the upstage:

upside. if you buy a new memory card (1 gig is available from say fry's or comp usa etc) and its about 34.99

64 mb card which it comes with fits about 14-16 songs

but a gig is over 1200 mb's so thats WAY more.

downside: you have to LOAD ur songs each time to be able to view them on the mp3 player side, which I have about 150 songs and it takes a few minutes to load. if i want to listen between classes or something that doesn't work because by the time all the ongs load i'm already at my next class. ANNOYING. wish i had an ipod.

no speaker phone

can't delete more than one text at a time, and each time u get a new text, it tells u your mailbox is full and that it will delete your oldest text, which is already explained in your options. PRETTY ANNOYING.

upside: the extra battery pack which adds 6 hours of talk time. totally awesome and when listening to music, you can listen for a LONGGG TIMMME without diminishing any battery.

downside: you can't put it down without worrying about the screen of whatever side you put it down on, it doesnt have a stand or something, and the battery pack is a little too large for my taste.

Harsh... It was a hands-on preview. I liked it, interesting design and thats cool how the carrying case/wallet comes with a battery. I normally wouldn't like candy-bar type phones but this is definitely innovative. However, I noticed that on the MP3 player side the GUI was still like a phone. I thought the 2 sides would have different interfaces so it would be like 3 separate devices.

Wow man, what was the point of that? You were like "Hey here is the phone, its a phone and it plays music, it has a battery, oh and another battery in this wallet... Yeah it comes with a small memory card... OK thanks for watching."

Really man, thanks for wasting my time... How did you tell me anything more then the Sprint site tells me? Actually you told me LESS. I can see the phone clearly on the sprint site and hear about at least some of it's features... you told me nothing... anyway... keep your day job dude..
