I can totally understand why Blackberry owners are sighing in relief right now. The Blackberry’s lack of a decent IM client or dedicated AIM client made me not want to use my Blackberry half the time. Now an official AIM client, Live Messenger, and ICQ client have all been officially released by RIM… sort of. The downloads are freely available, but you must update the service books before your IM service will work.
Either way, it’s still a very welcome addition to the Blackberry software world. Hit the BGR link on instructions on how to get Blackberry AIM working on your device.
