Lego’s Solar-Powered Helicopter Teaches Kids About Energy Conservation
by Nicholas Deleon on April 11, 2007

Lego plans to teach kids about the importance of energy conservation (to help stop “global warming” I’m sure) with its solar-powered helicopter. There’s literally no information on the device, but we can make wild, haphazard guesses. It would be wonderful if the blades rotated when exposed to the mighty power of the sun, but that might not even be the case. here, so whatever. However, we can tell you that this “educational” toy costs around $45. I say burn all the fossil fuels you want. A bunch of kids playing with a Lego helicopter isn’t going to change anything. Especially when the toy is made of delicious, oily plastic.
