Movies from MGM and United Artists are now on the iTunes Store. Apple quietly updated the store last night, adding movies from the studios including Foxy Brown, Mad Max, Rocky, Ronin and my personal favorite, Agent Cody Banks. They’re all still $9.99 and would look terrific streamed from the PC in your basement to your living room’s 60-inch DLP using Apple TV. Maybe now that Apple TV is here we’ll see more studios join the iTunes lineup.

I read that the quality of itunes movies sucks on a hdtv…

it’s acceptable but it’s no worse than a non-HD TiVo on HDTV. It’s all about compromise right now.
It does suck. It seems blockier than non hd tv but that could just be me – in general I find it hard to watch after seeing xbox hd. I don’t get what the hiccup is…better for photos though.
