I keep waiting for the industry to produce something really great in this form factor. And waiting. And waiting. I think the OQO and the Flipstart are steps in the right direction, but not at $1500-$2000, thanks. So I wince at your sarcasm, but I smile too, because you are right, sadly. Kinda makes me think of minidisc, with which I am still imfatuated. If Sony could have gotten out of their own way, the iPod might have been the niche product, and I might be carrying around an RH1 that cost $150 with $10 disks that hold 20Gb. Oh well. Point is, the conventional PC companies better get something good out the door soon, or we are all gonna end up with iPod redux. This time it will be a phone with a built-in vid projector and projected virtual keyboard. The keyboard is already available, and I read that someone has a proof-of-concept prototype of a projector built into a cell phone.
