Peripheral manufacturer Hori has announced the Compact TFT Monitor EX. It’s a 12.1-inch monitor that can display 720p via an RGB connector. It also includes stereo speakers and a headphone jack.
It might still weigh 30-pounds and not be, well, very portable, but this LCD attachment for the Xbox 360 could be the most portable the system is going to get. You can get yours this July for just 36,750 yen — or about $302.

That actually looks pretty cool. good if you bring your 360 over someones house that doesn’t have an HDTV. On second thought the screen is almost 2 small for more than one player…..maybe in a dorm room or something

Either your fanbois or you overlooked one simple fact: ALL portable monitors for 3rd generation consoles were 3rd party, and were available for PS2, XBOX, and GameCube. That means Sony didn’t endorse the product. At all. In fact, if you had a problem with your system while using one of these devices, Sony voided your factory warranty all together.
