Meizu is now infamous for its many iPhone clones, and its Hua Long IP2000 has just gone on sale in Chin.a. It’s a GSM cellphone that not only shares the iPhone’s general look and feel, right down to the UI, but has a big apple on the back. Hey, at least Meizu’s modest about totally ripping off Apple.
What’s kinda surprising it that its specs aren’t all that bad. The screen is plenty big—3.5 inches—and it plays all the standard multimedia files like MP3 and MPEG-4 video. It’s even got a 2-megapixel camera, something that several cellphones here still lack.
Complete IP theft can be yours for $140. Or, I suppose, you can wait for the real deal to come out.

This isn’t a Meizu product. There’s no Meizu branding on the product, nor is the company mentioned anywhere on eithter the product page or slashphone.
Meizu is more high-quality and less blatant than this. Please qualify or correct.
It seems that everyone and his dog is now bringing out an iPhone clone. Soon Apple might not have a market for the iPhone as everyone will have a clone ;-)

Why is everyone complaining about products that share the same looks as the iPhone and calling it a iPhone clone, when the damn thing isn’t even being sold yet? Why can’t it be a LG KE850 clone? It looks similar to that too. Personally, it think Meizu’s M8 has the iPhone beat in so many levels/areas.

We are not complaining about other products. We are complaining that the author pretends that the IP2000 phone is from Meizu, which it is not.
