Well, I really like this Xmod. I tried it with my HD555 and KossPortapro. It sounds amazing comparing to my on-board plug for my notebook. I totally agree with you that even if I listen to the same songs many times I heard some sound that I didn't hear before. It really improve dynamic range for my mp3. I may not buy extra dc adapter and use it with my Zen Vision M because if I carry too many stuffs, it will be difficult to call them as portable stuffs. (I may end up with buying a big pack and carry it with me.) I think using it for notebook is enough for me. I really love it. Xmod the rock!!
