Samsung and US Army Team Up For Mobile WiMAX Tomfoolery
by Peter Ha on April 26, 2007

The engineers at CERDEC will be testing the performance of Mobile WiMAX products to see if the cost and accessibility will help US troops when they need to relay critical information in a short amount of time.

Samsung EVP of Telecommunications Systems Division had this to say,

“Mobile WiMAX brings a variety of opportunities in the way people communicate. We are very excited to provide and introduce Mobile WiMAX technology to the U.S. Army, who could have a variety of unique implementations. Mobile WiMAX continues to expand globally – and Samsung will, at every step of the way, open new doors of opportunity.”
