There is some skepticism surrounding these pictures considering that EXIF data can be edited using programs such as “Reveal”. Also, the guy eating toast was connected to Apple, I am unsure as to how he was connected but I read somewhere that he worked in an R&D department.
Also, at first these pictures were private and now they have been removed from Flickr.
May or may not be a hoax but I doubt that Apple would hand out iPhones willy-nilly. And if they did this person would have to be pretty high-ranking in the company, if said person was high-ranking and did receive said iPhone, they would have been obliged to be more secretive about it. However they WERE private pictures…

I never thought of Googling for picture by an iPhone. Some people have too much time on their hands. I seriously doubt that these are actually iPhone photos but then I can’t say for sure. If they are then it seems that the iPhone takes quite a good photo.

That guy in the top picture has the skintone of a corpse (especially the hand arm holding the toast) and the picture below has far too much glare - so it isn’t from a pro camera for sure - if it is from the iPhone, who knows… whatever it’s from, they need to get an automatic color calibration system in there ASAP like they have for SLRs… then they have something that is really cool!

Where are the people who know where these pictures were taken? One advantage of the internet is that there is always this one guy who says, hey I know these green chairs and where you can sit like that outside. Maybe that helps to determine the origin of these (in my opinion fake) photos.

The flickr account holder (not the guy eating toast) is a Product Mananger for the iPhone at Apple. This is all discoverable if you search on the internet.
