Hi Josh, I can see this being useful in limited applications as you mentioned but to the general consumer - I just don't understand the fun in squinting to watch the latest J-Lo video on a cell phone... or watching the latest tv episode etc... why can't we just go back to the days when all you needed was an iron shoulder and a 30lbs boombox to be cool instead of these "friend collection" sites where your popularity is based on the number of strangers that call you "friend". I find these sites a sad statement on how we devote our time as a society.

I'm right there with you, Jon. Well, to a point at least. I'm no lover of social-networking sites, and I often wonder how people have the time to devote to them. However, I'm 32 and I do watch video clips on my phone, usually killing time waiting for meetings, public transportation, doctors appts., etc.
But even if I didn't do it for fun, there are practical applications to this embedded player. Put it in a company blog for example to send video clips of say, a construction site, to a team to view back in the office. Then maybe a member of the team needs to put the video on their phone so they can go somewhere else to solve a problem at the site. All they have to do then is hit the SND2MBL button and it's on their phone.

Hey... come visit my cool website (friend visits site), here is some stuff produced by somebody I don't even know that leads them AWAY from my site if they click on it. I think myspace (and their clones) are nothing but a big waste of time to say it lightly and trying to view movies on a cell phone equally as puzzling to a 30 year old fart like myself.
