This is turning into MP3 Player Idol.
Let’s let America vote.

The Sansa Connect is up, and he will be singing YAHOO Launchcast Internet radio. 100 channels without a subscription and even more with.

So what did you guys think of the performance.

Randy : “Pretty impressive, would have liked to see some more wireless capabilities and streaming without any break up but overall a nice selections pretty innovative”.

Paula: “That’s a sexy little package with a lot of bang. Nice job really nice job!”

Simon: “That was awful just horrible. That was the worst Zune impression I have ever seen. But I have to say it is much cuter.”

A final thanks to John and also to SanDisk for the Sansa Connect contest and product.

To summarize: Wi-Fi to download music. Wireless streaming of your Flickr photos. Play MP3s, as well as music from Rhapsody and/or other services (Windows-based, sorry Mac owners).

Simple connecting to secure and unsecured Wi-Fi networks. Yes, you can get your tunes on while you’re sipping a latte at S-bucks. Design? Like that too. 2.2″ screen has received solid reviews – you won’t need new contacts to see it. And you can play it while recharging. It’s a pretty super package. I’m sure we’ll be seeing more Wi-Fi wonders from SanDisk in the future. Good work on the Connect – it’s really a leap forward. Makes me wonder why Apple didn’t come up with this before the iPhone.

You guys are the best!! The connect has started the competition for the wifi players. I’m sure we will see a wifi IPOD sometime in the near future and an updated zune sleeker with better wifi abilities. The Connect has definitely paved the way for this new category of players and definitely gets your juices flowing with excitement. The possibilities are endless when it comes to wifi. Image download your personal music library wirelessly or listening in with your friend or just a stranger on the bus. This player looks like it rocks!! Thank you Sandisk for providing the players for this contest and thank you Crunchgear for giving them away. Keep up the great job guys!!

Man, that thing is more and more and more awesomer everytime I look at it….I mean, it’s doggone sleek and sexy, very cool capabilities, and is definitely going to produce mp3-envy. Being the “computer guy” for a school, I can forsee a very large demand for these once I show it off around the High and Middle school age crowd that I’m around all the time, as well as the church youth group I work with. And all the extra word of mouth (which I know everyone knows the best form of advertising – especially from someone you know!) that both Crunchgear and Sandisk will be getting is sure to produce many new visitors/customers. Yahoo! has much to gain through this activity as well, as I would for sure be a new subscriber to their music service, as well as the many youth sure to invest in the coolest MP3 player yet.
