There is a big push for them at that time to generate sales for the year. This is not like a roomba or some inside robot that can work all year round, unless you live in very select parts of the USA. You can check out the reviews on http://www.bamabots.com for more information. And look at the active user forums there to see how many people are happy with their mowers.
