I must say that Tron was (and still is) amazingly unique in the world of Sci-fi… hence why it has lasted so long in all our minds – makes you wonder with all the huge technological advancements our civilization has made since its introduction – why there isn’t a new “Tron” – Matrix is the closest so far in my mind, Aliens and Blade Runner as well but those are both as dated as Tron.
