I don’t think the problem is limited to Nintendo nor Korea for that matter… Asia has a huge copyright problem on its hands that it has yet take seriously. That being said, domestically (north america) is probably the biggest consumer of such goods anyhow… so policies and ENFORCEMENT are required on both sides of the pond.

Is that fan art? Nintendo fan art? Man, I remember when I was a kid and my friend Lee drew Nintendo fan art. Princess Toadstool was always in compromising positions and so on, and I think I was going through a phase where I said ‘wicked’; his dad told me that it meant ‘useless’ in Bible speak. We’re not friends anymore.
