The number of unread posts is shown, but clicking on the feed to display the posts seems to hang the Google RSS reader. I wish that it would update dynamically or that they would add a "refresh" button that actually checks the feeds (rather than Google's cache) like other feed readers. This is so it can cache them for later on Google's own servers, so you can still read it even if the story gets removed from the feed before you get around to checking them.
