Hitachi’s Travelstar 7K200 hard drive is said to be the world’s fastest notebook hard drive, with a transfer speed that’s supposedly 22 percent faster than its closest competitor. The 2.5-inch drive comes in 80, 100, 120, 160 and 200GB flavors, which isn’t too shabby for a drive that size. The drive even has built-in file encryption, a feature that’s becoming more and more common these days, especially on notebook drives. It should be here this summer for around $250 for the 200GB model. Zoom!
