Not that anyone was scooping up the Lamborghini-branded notebooks from ASUS, but if you did, you might want to try returning it so you can hop on the Santa Rosa bandwagon. Word is that the new version of the laptop will be out in June and features plenty of goodies. A 15.4-inch display, 2.4GHz T7700 Core 2 Duo CPU, Blu-Ray drive, 512MB NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT graphics, integrated 802.11n/b/a/g WiFi, 2GB of DD2 memory, and a whopping 160GB drive are all included, so start saving as the VXS2 will not be cheap.

Oh yeah, that’s not all. You’ll also get external SATA, HDMI, an ExpressCard slot, and Gigabit Ethernet are all included. Lots of good stuff here. Keep it around the $3,000 mark and ASUS might actually sell some this time around.
