Are there any Starcraft fans in the house? Don’t be shy; it’s OK to answer yes because no one will know. Now, it’s all speculation at this point that Starcraft 2 will be coming out, but the fact that the URL has been bought and redirected to the main Blizzard site makes me wonder. What do you guys think? Is Starcraft 2 coming soon or did Blizzard just swoop up the URL for the hell of it?

I never really liked Starcraft – it always seemed like a very pale cousin of war craft to me. I doubt that adding a higher sequential digit will change my views but I am human and am very capable of making mistakes.

i just entered http://www.starcraft2.com and when it opens the blizzard page u see a timeline……AND A BIG QUESTION MARK AT THE END!!!

since 1999! Blizz has owned the domain for many years. Also, this applies to another Blizz domain as well – http://www.diablo.com redirects to the same page at Blizz’s main site.
I’m not disputing the fact that nearly everyone (me included) expects the announcement to be Starcraft 2, but all this wild speculation and theories concerning the domain is ridiculous.

if you don’t like starcraft then don’t comment about it. It is a masterpiece of rts gaming and blizzard is really going to out do themselves by releasing starcraft 2.
