Keeping true to its rule of piracy, The Pirate Bay has now officially announced plans for a new streaming video site similar to YouTube. Dubbed “The Video Bay”, this new site will offer uncensored streaming video. Basically what this means is that a week after the site is up, you’ll be able to watch Fast Times At Ridgemount High in a flash player as many times as you want, without paying a cent towards Sean Penn or Judge Reinhold.
Right now, surfing over to www.thevideobay.org brings you only this short message: “only open for beta- and dev-testers.
some is live, most is not. we will open for public when done.” Lovely. Hopefully we’ll see the beta go public very soon and then the next phase of the pirate movement shall commence!

FIRST POST and sounds like a plan
No dodgy flash.. proper html video.

What are you 3? /cough “douchebag”
Don’t get all mouse clicky happy. What is really going to stop these guys from bailing on a project again? Instead they sold-out/bought-in to what looks to be the same corporate gouging and penny squeezing bastards the entire community loaths. its 2009 ( TPB 2003 ) so in five years we should expect to see the same build a product, sell a product corporate ideal.
they had to bail eircom blocked access to the pirate bay in its feutile attempt to stop torrent exchange but this way its almost exactly like youtube and if they block this they’ll have to block youtube and ovg and last.fm and what are the chances they’ll do the eh?
@Lithionlx please look at the date of the first comment. It is long before you started to yell that the owners of the piratebay are sell outs!!!!
