A Friend Of The Devil Is A Friend Of Sirius

Sirius will be adding a new station to its lineup consisting of only Grateful Dead tracks. Set to debut this summer, the station will feature classic tracks, new tunes, unreleased recordings, special shows hosted by members of the band, bootlegs, and of course, live sets.
This is not the first time Sirius has given a band its own station. Elvis has his own station and so does Howard Stern. Though I wouldn’t consider myself a fan of The Dead, half the people I went to high-school with will probably jump with joy at this announcement.

Is there really THAT MUCH material from only ONE BAND to justify their own station? I wonder how long listeners will be able to listen to the same thing over and over again before realizing they where better off with “free” radio ;-)
