Lost - The iPod Game

What do you do when you have a failing TV show with a terrible plot line and you’re losing money on it? Create a mobile game! Duh! “Lost” is now available as a downloadable iPod game on the iTunes Music Store. For $5 you too can “Help Jack search for dynamite, tend to the wounded, and avoid the black smoke.” Sounds extremely exciting.

Other activities include helping people at the crash scene, trying to escape from the Others, and probably getting off the island at some point. Works with 5G iPods, improved ratings not included.

This game should’ve been made a year ago then, because the ratings have risen recently due to the show improving. Good try.

I, too, am a Lost fan. The show is working, my friend. I recommend checking it out.

Agreed–Lost is awesome. Some people aren’t able to follow the intricate and twisting plot line, but what are ya gonna do? Also, it’s on later at night now, and I’ve heard that at times when ratings have been down, TiVo stats have been up.

More interesting is the fact that ALL TV ratings have been down this year (see http://www.lostremote.com/2007/05/10/where-have-all-the-viewers-gone/).

Oooh, nice try, but LOST’s ratings are higher than ever, it was confirmed that the show’s fans TIVO it, and with those numbers now counted in, the show never really lost viewers as was originally thought. They just recorded it.

I’m really getting frustrated with lost. The best two seasons were the first two my wife and I watched straight through on the laptop. the cliffhangers are really getting annoying, especially considering the payoff thus far. Jacob! Linus! Others! Smoke Monsters!
