<description>Thank you again for the opportunity to post.

We announced a price decrease to $499 with charging stand (until the end of the year) this Monday.

Thank you to the customers who allowed us to step up manufacturing and gain these cost savings.

<description>The review was fine, but did not include some key context points that customers and fans have found important as they have been using the product.

-	“George is expensive at $550 and $50 for the optional docking station/charger.” There is no doubt that many cannot spend $600 for a compact music system. However our customers have told us that George provides excellent value at $600 when compared to other $600 compact systems. Also many of these customers have or are familiar with custom systems that can’t approach George on iPod functionality or value.

- “The sound doesn’t have a wide, big stage feel. It sounds good, but there is no sound separation. It is as if the sound is coming from one speaker.” ALL “docks” and table top systems have the same or similar problems. Many people choose a compact system because they don’t want to bother with speaker wires. Of course, George with its preamp output, allows you to plug into any type of stereo or powered speaker system if stereo separation is vital to you.

-	“Switching songs from the iPod is slow; sometimes it took up to 10 seconds.” In most cases, especially for iPods with lots of songs (over 5,000), there is no faster way to navigate the iPod than with George. The unique navigational function offered by George’s jump buttons is a significant enhancement over the clickwheel alone. Regarding switching songs, it depends on the state of the iPod. Disk-based iPod’s with video, on their own, can sometimes take a good amount of time to switch between songs, i.e. sometimes a re-boot can come in handy. The key issue here is what amount of time did George contribute to the iPod’s switching of songs? In almost all cases, it is less than 2 seconds and most cases, less than 1 second.

So in conclusion, Chestnut Hill Sound feels that when George is reviewed as just another iPod dock, readers are not fully informed on its capabilities.

Sincerely,
