I played GH2 with a friend who plays real guitar at some gigs in the area, and completely kicked his ass. Of course, I probably couldn’t play Mary Had a Little Lamb on the real thing, given 5 hours and an instruction manual.

It must be good to have real skills…

i have GH1 and my bro in law has GH2. both games are incredible! i love them…

to see these songs on GH3 is just amazing. especially slow ride! ive got memories for that game…i feel old =( im only 18. but anyways…id really like to see something ACDC or zeppelin on it but i guess zeppelin is hard to get a copyright for and ACDC i dont even know. so yeah…

I agree with joey…Jessica by the Allman Brothers is waay easier on the real thing.

RedOctane has to first get permission to use the songs on the game. They didn’t ask Guns ‘n Roses for Sweet Child of Mine. They got tired of waiting. It was supposed to be on Guitar Hero 1

GH1 has more classic songs dan GH2. but i think der both awesome.

Its funny how guitar hero is like a bike. i didnt play for like 2 months and when i picked up the guitar i played bark at the moon on expert and finished it with 92%, and before i stopped i couldnt even play it on hard.
guitar hero three is gonna rock hard and i cant wait to shred some new songs… And I cant believe tenacious D is on that mofo.

I mostly excited about the wireless Kramer Vanguard for the PS2! That’s gonna be awesome. I hope there is more classic rock on GH3, like Metallica, ACDC, Pantera…Can’t wait. Hope its not too expensive…

i own both of them, they are awsome. im in iraq and its the only distraction i have….the only thing is that i wish they put some Godsmack on GH3. specially moon baby or i stand alone.

Ohhhhh my gosh this might seem a lil weird but my hands are very lil cuz imma lil girl 15 persue but anyways my exboyfriends lil bor got me to play gh1 my mom got me n my sisters gh2 welllllllll instead of using the guitar(the whole point of the game) i use the controller and i still kick ass cant wait untill gh3 comes out……….. woooooooHoooooooo!!!!!!!!

what they REALLY need is a scorpions or about 10 more boston songs…they have pretty unexpectedly awesome solos, even if some are easier than others.

All of u guys that r saying that the real guitar is easier than guitar hero are idiots cuz guitar hero is hand/eye cordination. U can’t even compare it to the real guitar at all…..And yes for those who are wondering i do play the real guitar and i kick ass at this game so u can’t even compare them to each other

I absolutely love GH. my friend has GH1 and my bro has GH2. i cant wait til GH3 comes. being as that i am a girl, i think it’s pretty awesome that i can actually go up against some of the boys. i just really wish that they would put some more hard rock/metal on there.

HOW THE HELL can they leave out songs like “Welcome to the Jungle”. or “Enter Sandman” or “VooDoo Chile”. they keep putting these brand new” to the radio i might add” bands who really havent done much like Rush or Metallica or even The Eagles. Put some damn Godsmack on it for christ sake. these songs suck… but i will buy it anyways.

i have been playing gh2 and gh1 ever since december and i play every day for like an hour. iv’e mastered every song on expert but have played it so much that i get worse sometimes. Hope gh3 comes out as soon as possible. GH ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I also found out that the Kramer will be for the PS2 version (the les paul only for the PS3,360,and the Wii :( ). Dustin is right about Jimi but I think they might screw it up because my friend said “Spanish Castle Magic”(on the first gh) was supposed to have vocals and it didn’t!

I went to a website a while back that said”the top 5 songs NEVER to be played on guitar hero” and it said
NOTHING by Cannibal Corpse ( death metal in case nobody knows)

i think a blend of all different types of rock is what guitar hero should do.
they’ve been doing it, but people keep saying more metal, less emo, or whatever. put a bunch of everything in.

i’d like to see some bands that were already on guitar hero too.
boston, rush, kansas, the ramones, motley crue, dick dale, sum 41, guns and roses, and bad religion all have good songs that would be great for guitar hero (because they have good guitar parts)
the one song i would love to see is Devil Game, by kansas. but i doubt that will happen. its got 2 great parts

i agree with the songs but what about new features like create your own character, create your own song, or create your own guitar. i heard that they will have a battle mode for multiplayer where you can aquire power-ups and shoot them at the other player.
