I’m tempted to drop T-Mobile as my service provider and switch to Sprint or Verizon because their respective networks blow T-Mo out of the water. EDGE can bite me; EVDO is where it’s at, folks. Anyways, Engadget Mobile claims to have it from the source that the 8830 will finally be launched this coming Memorial Day. Hmmm, makes me wonder how this one will turn out.

Verizon EVDO was great. They canceled me without warning after I downloaded just a couple of documentaries via video.google.com. The sucky part was that the sales guy was VERY insistent that EVDO was for downloading videos and such whenever and WHEREEVER I wanted. (afterall, their slogan was “unlimited downloads”)
