is it good enough for backing in through out australia for 6 monts to a year ? or should i go for the traditional backpacks.

i’m staying in hostels most of the time and will be camping somtimes.

I have looked at the Meridian 28 by Osprey and find it hold similar to a large hiking backpack. It should be enough for a Europe Trip depending on how you pack. My brother used a similar sized pack for a 12 week trip. You can check out Altrec, they have some reviews and a guarantee that if you don't like it you can return it even if it is used. No questions asked. Hope this helps, have a good trip.
