Lazy Dude Makes Program To Keep Laptop From Sleeping

Alright, so there’s this dude named Brien Schultz, right? This guy is so finnicky, that he doesn’t want his laptop to go to sleep when he moves it around the house. God forbid he just leave the lid open or get a laptop that isn’t from 1997. Anyways, Brien went ahead and created a program that monitors the laptop’s accelerometer so that if the laptop is shut, it won’t fall asleep.
However, if the laptop is indeed in motion and being carried, yet not being used, his program will start a countdown to send the ‘puter to sleep. The program, appropriately named “Bedtime”, can’t be downloaded, because Brien is mean and doesn’t want to share his creation. Whatever dude. You’re the one with the laptop from 1997.

Hi. You may want to take a closer look at the blog you’re referring to in this point. You obviously didn’t review what Brien said so the point of this Bedtime program went over your head and soaring into a stadium of comprehensive readers. Ouch.

My laptop is a new IBM Lenovo T60p. Lenovo’s may look like IBM’s from 1997 but my 3GB of 667mhz DDR2 RAM, 256MB FireGL 3D card and 7200 RPM drive will make your laptop cry.
…Oh yeah, and my Lenovo has 1) a built-in high-speed cell modem (which I use 24/7), 2) an accelerometer, 3) biometric security (I never type passwords, I just slide my thumb over a fingerprint reader once in a while).
I love Lenovo.

….Oh yeah, and it’s got a Core 2 Duo. …And with a Lenovo you can upgrade everything from the video card to the processor. …By yourself in like 5 miutes.

Lenovo blows … IBM never should have sold the product line. IBM Thinkpads were tanks, couldn’t kill em. Lenovo Thinkpads are crap.
