Ummm…WTF?!? Looks like the Apple site was tweaked with a nice new design, but nothing new in the Apple Store. Is anyone else left with a sense of nothingness from the keynote? We’ll have to take solace in the Safari 3 Public Beta. Woohoo…more like boohoo. *Cries in the corner*

Anything that requires a restart can bite me!
It won’t install in my vista machine I get safari error code 2738. I re-downloaded it several times by clearing cache, and using alternative browsers. Anyone else with this prob?
Yes, I have a solution… Don’t bother.
Well it works, but I can’t do much since I don’t have a key with an apple on it on my keyboard and my mouse has too many buttons
Lets see, some features…
umm…. tabbed pages – check
Oh, it has Bookmarks, not favorites, but so does Firefox
Maybe its like more secure or something
it is all nice and fuzzy/blurry like my Mac. Thats a nice feature.
I repeat

No changes? If my memory is working well the 20″ iMacs have changed….new price increase but can’t tell anything different in the specs. Think the price was at $1299 last week; $1499 today??
Sorry if I double clutched…
The store may have been updated with a price increase. Memory says that the 20″ iMac was $1299 last week but is now sporting a $1499 price tag. Can’t tell any difference in the features….
Am I crazy?
NW Guy-
Looks like the only change was the Leopardish looking redesign to the site.
I have tried installing Apple QuickTime 7 several times tonight on Vista Home Premium without success. Always get the same message – The installer has encountered an unexpected error – The error code is 2738. I tried installing the VBScript from Microsoft but it made no difference. Anyone solved the problem yet?
Here is the fix for you all, it works.
iTunes and QuickTime for Windows cannot be installed without Visual Basic Script (VBScript)
Symptom
In some instances, the iTunes and QuickTime Installers may unexpectedly quit during the “Preparing to Install” stage of the installation with the following message:
The installer has encountered an unexpected error installing this package. This may indicate a problem with this package. The error code is 2738.
In some cases, the error message may read
“iTunes could not be installed because Visual Basic Script (VBScript) is not installed or has been disabled. Make sure VBScript is installed, turn off script blocking in anti-virus and personal firewall software, reregister VBScript, and then install iTunes.”
Products affected
iTunes 7.0 or later
QuickTime 7.1.3 or later
Windows XP
Windows Vista
Solution
The iTunes and QuickTime Installers uses a technology called “Windows Installer”, provided by Microsoft. If you see this error, it may be because the Windows Installer technology is unable to process the Visual Basic Script embedded inside the iTunes and QuickTime Installers.
Windows XP
You may resolve this issue by installing the latest VBScript engine from Microsoft.
If the VBScript is installed, it might not be registered within Windows XP. To re-enable the VBScript engine, follow these steps:
On the Start menu, click Run.
In the “Open” field, enter the following command and click OK.
regsvr32 vbscript.dll
A message should appear stating that the “DllRegisterServer in C:\WINDOWS\system32\vbscript.dll succeeded.”
Click OK and try installing iTunes or QuickTime again.
Note that the user needs to be logged in as the administrator or is a user with admin privileges for the step above.
Windows Vista
On the Start menu, click All Programs.
Click Accessories.
Right-click Command Prompt and choose Run as administrator from the shortcut menu.
When the User Account Control dialog appears, click Continue.
At the command prompt type the following:
regsvr32 vbscript.dll
Press Enter on your keyboard.
A message should appear stating “DllRegisterServer in vbscript.dll succeeded.”
Click OK and try installing iTunes or QuickTime again.
