Those of you looking to drop a ton of money on a digital audio streaming device should look no further than Logitech’s new Transporter Network Music Player. This long device is said to deliver audiophile-quality sound from almost any source. Hook up an ethernet jack to the Transporter and you can stream music from any Mac or PC you have lying around the home.

You can output your tunes in a number of ways, thanks to the Transporter’s multiple analog and digital inputs and outputs. Overall, it looks like your typical Slim Devices design and probably works well like past devices that company has made. Too bad it costs a staggering $1999.99 and absolutely no one will pay that much for a Logitech-brand product.

  • uhh this was available from slim devices well before they were acquired by logitech. The “news” here is that logitech have added it to their online store?
