I was in Japan last month and was also able to see the huge range of Symbian smartphones on offer including one with Sony BRAVIA display for live TV broadcast. I just don't understand why it's taking so long for the US market to realize that smartphones are much more than BlackBerry and PDAs. It may well be the network operators' fault.
