According to BGR, a trusted source has just leaked some “deets” regarding the iPhone data plan. Looks like it will probably be a fair $35 to $45 per month, with unlimited data and either 2,000 or unlimited text messages. It is still unknown as to how the voice plans will work, but so far the rates seem to be competitive with current data/voice plans.
We hope it won’t really be called the iPlan…

Yeah, that’s not reasonable IMO — all cellphone data plans are WAAAAAYYYY over-priced. I have been thinking of getting a Treo but all of the carriers seem to charge $40/mo for the base phone + $30-45/mo for the data.
WTF? $70-95 PER MONTH to surf the web and check gmail on a phone??? You’ve got to be kidding - no wonder everyone thinks the phone carriers are scammers and crooks! They are!!!

$70-$95/month isn’t reasonable???? Well, here in Canada you have to pay around $60 for a crappy voice plan and a CRAZY $210 for 500MB of data!! You can’t even GET any “unlimited” plans up here!
I would GLADLY pay $95/month for voice AND data on a phone.

that’s rediculous, I pay less than $90 a month for 1500 minutes, unlimited Data, but get this, UNLIMITED SMS. the AT&T contract is a rip off.
Oh, I might add that this is in Guatemala…
