What format war? Sony said it was over months ago. Blockbuster is good for a lot of FUD. And if Sony knows one thing it's how to work FUD. Blockbuster used to rent Laser disks and refused to rent Xbox; obviously they're not the clairvoyant business leaders Sony would like us to think. I don't think this is a war anybody cares about except for Sony/Toshiba and their various and hive-minded fan boys. What will end up happening is both formats stay around, limping, wounded, yelling at each other like a crazy old couple until they get replaced by hyperdisks or whatever. When the top seller is 100,000 copies. Excuse me if I don't get all weak need and swoon. My advice for the Companies making disks is to take the money these high def-defying fools are willing to throw away. Make dvds for any and all formats and don't play patsies for two idiot companies who think their CEO is Patton reincarnated. The answer is simple make the disks take the money, there is no moral high ground here. Format war? What format war? Sony said it was over months ago.
